Bio: One can not stay in the Jedi Academy long without hearing the name of the Jedi Master known as Hellflower. The well-known woman has beecome a major part of the institution, and many of the Jedi there can't help but be drawn to her warm personality. Insightful, motherly, witty, and at times even wacky, Hellflower is a beloved faculty member at JA, and has contributed much to it's development and curriculum.

Despite the fact so many know her and like her, very little is actually known about this Jedi. Her mysterious past is very secret, and she seems to prefer that it is kept that way. Only a select few know anything at all about her younger days, and even then, what is known is but little.

A good deal of her childhood is a mystery. It's known that she had a Jedi master teaching her the ways of the Force by the time she was a teenager, but it is not known how long her training had started before that. Still, Hellflower had learned a great deal from her, and would have most likely been brought to the level of Jedi Knight by her master. However, things took a sudden tragic turn; Hellflower's master was killed by a Dark Jedi out for vengeance for some past defeat. He in turn was cut down by a Sith Warrior, who, ironically, was a close friend of the Jedi master who he avenged.

Taking pity on Hellflower, who was now masterless and alone, the Sith warrior took Hellflower in as his apprentice. To honor his Jedi friend's memory, he decided not to teach her the ways of the darkside, but tried his best to impart all of his friend's teachings to her. However, she did learn a few of the Sith Force secrets. The Sith Lord also taught her various Sith fighting arts, as well as a rare Hiryu-sabre fighting form, which added to her already formidible fighting skills. By the time Hellflower reached her 20's, she was a powerful fighter in her own right, and had recived her current use-name from her master, who given it as a name of honor, as well as to signify her upbringing.

Soon after, her dark master told her there was nothing more he could teach her. The wandering years that followed are hidden in secrecy and wonder, known only to a few. But from the little that has surfaced, they were years full of adventure, intense combat, and soul searching. It's hinted that she was a bit wild in those days, quick to ignite her lightsabres for justice and weilding them in a fearsome dysplay of skill and power. Those who encountered her weren't sure what to make of the mysterious, kindly, yet wily Force warrior. She wasn't quite a Jedi Knight, yet not a Sith Warrior either.

During the last few years of those fast paced times, however, Hellflower made a conscious effort to spend more and more of her time and energy focusing on the Jedi way. She decided to curb her wild nature as well, and worked to live a more peaceful life. Various Jedi whom she had met over the years noticed the change, and advised her to go to the Jedi Academy of Earth in order to continue her studies. Hearing good things about the instiution, she decided to take their advice.

Arriving at the well known center of Jedi knowledge, Hellflower was warmly recived there, and was able to further her already vast knowledge in the Jedi way. Her more kindly and motherly side showed even more, and while known to be mischevous and wacky, wasn't as wild as she once was. She had even set aside her Hiryu-sabre, as she felt it was symbolic of her wilder days, a time that she felt was now behind her. She also indulged in her love of knowledge, consistantly researching ancient Jedi tomes and writting essays on past written Jedi wisdom and history. After some time, she felt ready to formally attempt the Jedi trails. She passed easily, and finally was recognized as a Jedi Knight. She decided to stay at the Jedi Academy, and selflessly brought many new innovations and ideas to the institution. Because of this, as well as her broad acceptance by most of the Jedi knights and apprentices there, she was later asked to take up a position as faculty. She accepted, and was also brought up the level of Jedi Master after successfully teaching several students.

Hellflower continues to be a beloved member of Jedi Academy's faculty, researching various subjects and putting out numerous works. She also teaches advanced classes on Jedi philosophy and thought, and the informal lessons are usually very thought provoking. However, despite her more peaceful life these days, she's still ready and willing to fight along side her fellow Jedi on any mission or quest where she is needed. And who's to say how long her special lightsabre, set aside for these many years, will stay unused?
