Alias: Vee Vee
Species/Homeplanet: Human/Earth?
Age: 16
Height: 6"
Weight: 150 lbs
Hair: reddish blonde
Eyes: blue
Aura: electric yellow
Clothing: black Lucasian style Jedi robes, pants, and boots... among other things...
Other distinguishing marks/traits/habits: tall and lanky, yet muscular. Tends to be very high strung, at times even hyper. Also hot-headed and tends to argue when he doesn't understand or want to go along with something. However, he is a well-meaning and dedicated Padawan.
Lightsabre: turquoise bladed lightsabre
Discipline: Jedi, Poh tradition. Still training as a padawan learner.
Notable Skills: Fast learner of lightsabre combat, already forming his own unpredictable style. Also skillful with a blaster, though not on par with Alora, who is a better shot. While he believes in being well rounded with weaponry, he focuses more on his lightsabre. Pretty good at high speed land speeder driving, and owns a little speeder which he cherishes. Also is a very good Mech pilot, and aspires to the Jedi of the JeMSU order. Still has yet to master the intracacies of the mental power aspects of the Force, though he has an instinctual connection to it.
Bio: The outgoing Avi Von is one of Ezra Kye Poh's most dedicated Padawans. He's very enthusiastic about his Jedi training, and is also a bright and quick learner. However, he is also very rambunctious and reckless, and his impetuous nature sometimes gets him into trouble. At the least, it's been known to test even his master's patience.
Avi Von's skills are varied, and plentiful, as he is a talented Jedi apprentice. He is already showing a good understanding of Jedi lightsabre fighting principles, and his athletic and gymnastic prowess complement his combat abilities very well. He also has a knack for landspeeder mantainence and driving, constantly tinkering on a sturdy and quick little speeder he owns. His mechanical know-how has kept it in good condition, and the little tweaks he's done here and there help him execute many high speed manuvers and stunts, all which are performed with an experienced hand. However, when it comes to piloting vehicles, his true love lies with moble suits and combat mecha. The Jedi of the JeMSU Order are beloved icons to him, and he hopes to be able to pilot a Jedi mobile suit just as well as they do someday. So far, he has a basic knowledge of working with them, and in truth, he isn't bad.
Avi does have some weaknesses though, particularly his impetuousness and impatience. Quick to action, he is usually ready to jump into anything with unrestrained zeal, something that he has yet to understand needs to be curbed. A Jedi's mind is calm, serene, and reflecting, traits that his young mind has yet to fully capture. This is also one of the main reasons why he has a hard time mastering the subtleties of Jedi mind powers. He needs to learn to focus more, to learn the powers of concentraition. His master, Ezra Kye, constantly tries to impart this upon him in the hopes that he will takle it to heart one day. But Avi finds it hard to stand around and wait when he feels something has to be done. He is also a stuborn Jedi apprentice, and at times has been known to argue with his master on several topics. Some might take this to mean he is undiciplined and unrestrained, or even has a hint of the darkside in him. This really isn't the case; it is simply a sign of his youth, and deep down, he really just wants to do the right thing.
Despite his difficulty in calming his mind and spirit in order to achive a greater understanding of the Force, he does have an unconscious, instinctual connection to it. Because of this, his abilities in the Force are more on an intuitive level, rather than a meditative one, and it tends to take him to the "right place" or do the "right action" when he doesn't even think about it. His Jedi Master, while having learned how to make a deeper conscious connection, also is attuned with the Force in this way; this is one of the reasons that, despite his antics, she is able to deal with and understand him. Another one of Ezra Kye's students, the Jedi apprentice Alora Yume, is Avi's counterpart. She is the opposite of him when it comes to connecting to the Force; hers is a more calm, meditative link. This of course leads to disagreements between them. Since both of them have fiery, argumentive natures, the disagreents are frequent, varied, and loud, much to the misery of their mentor.
Because of his abilities, this young padawan has actually been on a few quests already with his master, and has proven himself from time to time. Along with Alora Yume, another of Ezra Kye's students, he has been quite helpful on various missions. His mechanical prowess has played a large part in these successes. Avi is happy with his accomplishments, as he hopes to be a great Jedi one day. While Ezra Kye reminds him that he still has a long way to go, she feels that he one day will meet that goal.
Among the Poh students, the ever-energetic Avi remians one of the most outgoing and spontaneous. His antics have caused much merriment among them all, as well as many mishaps and misadventures. Besides the twins, he also plays many practical jokes, and it is a given that someone will scream his name at least once, while he runs off laughing. Still, he loves his friends dearly, and they wouldn't trade him for anything.
If he can learn to control his impetousness, and learn patience, thus mastering the powers of the Jedi mind, he could very well become a renowned Jedi Knight. Until then, he remains one of Ezra Kye's cherished padawans.
